Short version: a controller is the cheapest upgrade in gaming that you will actually feel. There are four in stock between €34.99 and €178.99, and the €34.99 one is not the compromise you think it is.
Most "budget gaming" advice tells you to spend on a graphics card. Sensible — but if you play racing, football, platformers or anything with a camera you control by hand, the controller in your hands matters more than ten extra frames per second. Here is what each one is actually for.

25 units in stock€35 vs €179: what the money buys
The €34.99 Logitech F710 does the four things that matter: two analogue sticks with good travel, vibration, a wireless 2.4 GHz connection with no pairing dance, and a layout that games recognise instantly. It is the controller you buy when you want to stop using a keyboard for driving games. The trade-offs are weight and grip — it is lighter and more plastic than the expensive options.
The €65.99 HyperX Clutch Gladiate is a wired Xbox controller. Wired is not a downgrade here: no battery, no latency, no disconnection mid-match. If you play on Xbox or on PC with Xbox Game Pass, this is the pragmatic choice.
The €178.99 ASUS ROG Raikiri is a different category. Remappable back buttons, trigger locks, profile switching and a build you can feel. It exists for players who use back paddles competitively — if you do not, you are paying for features you will never touch.
The €53.99 G321 is the headset to pair with any of them: wireless, light, and good enough that you hear footsteps rather than your own breathing.
The comparison
| Product | Type | Platform | Price | Buy it if |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Logitech F710 | Wireless gamepad | PC | €34.99 | You want a solid controller without spending much. |
| Logitech G321 | Wireless headset | PC | €53.99 | You need voice chat without cables. |
| HyperX Clutch Gladiate | Wired controller | Xbox / PC | €65.99 | You want zero latency and no charging. |
| ASUS ROG Raikiri | Pro gamepad | PC / Xbox | €178.99 | You use back paddles and switch profiles. |
The €35 question: should you buy the cheap one?
Usually, yes. The gap between a €35 controller and a €179 controller is not the gap between usable and unusable — it is the gap between good and excellent. If you play a few hours a week, you will not notice the difference. If you compete, you will notice immediately, because back buttons change how you hold the controller rather than how it feels.
What you should not do is buy the €179 model first. Buy the cheap one, play for a month, and let your hands tell you whether you need more. That is €35 to answer a question most buyers guess at.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Logitech F710 work with modern Windows?
Yes. It uses a USB receiver and XInput, which Windows recognises natively. It works with Steam, Game Pass and most games without additional software.
Wired or wireless controller for PC?
Wired for competitive play and zero maintenance; wireless for comfort and couch play. At this price band, wireless controllers use 2.4 GHz receivers, which have lower latency than Bluetooth and are fine for all but the most demanding games.
Is a €179 controller worth it over a €35 one?
Only if you use the extra features. Back paddles, trigger locks and profile switching change how you play competitively. If you play casually, the difference in feel does not justify five times the price.
Can I use an Xbox controller on a PC?
Yes. Xbox controllers are natively supported by Windows, and the HyperX Clutch Gladiate on this page works on both Xbox and PC.
Can I return it if I do not like it?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to return it in the condition it arrived with its accessories. That is the EU distance-selling period, not the 30 days some retailers advertise.
How long does delivery take and what does it cost?
Between 3 and 7 business days from dispatch. The cost depends on weight and destination and is calculated at checkout before you pay; there is no free shipping.
What warranty do they carry?
2 years against manufacturing defects, handled by us rather than by the manufacturer, so you do not deal with their service centre.
Is the stock shown real?
Yes. The unit counts in each block come from the catalogue inventory at the time of writing, and the product page shows live stock.

The checklist behind every listing
Rather than assert quality, we describe the process. It is more useful and it can be checked.
Power-on, function-by-function response, physical condition against the declared grade, completeness of accessories, serial number match. Anything that fails does not get listed.
Beyond that we do not go. No thermal imaging, no long-duration stress runs, no acoustic measurement. If you need laboratory data, the manufacturer datasheet is the right source.
Where this shop stops
A buyer should know what the shop can and cannot do before paying, not after.
We will not fill a gap in a datasheet with a plausible number. Unknown stays unknown.
And we will not undercut everyone. If a lower price exists elsewhere, take it — what we offer is verified stock and a checked unit, not a price promise.

FAQ
Is the stock figure on this page real?
Yes, it is read from the live catalogue. Sold-out units change or disappear.
What is the spread between the cheapest and the most expensive option here?
The range runs from €34.99 to €163.99, a difference of €129.00. That gap buys specification, not brand prestige — read both rows before deciding it matters to you.
How many units are available across all models?
4 models are listed, with a combined 100 units in stock. The thinnest line is Logitech Gamepad F710 Wireless Compatible PC at 25 units.
Can I return an item if it does not suit me?
Yes, within 14 calendar days of delivery, complete and resaleable. Return shipping is at your cost unless the item was faulty.
Do you ship outside the EU?
We ship to the UK, Norway and Switzerland at a higher flat rate. We do not ship to Malta or Cyprus.
Where we ship from, and on what terms
Orders leave our EU warehouse and arrive in 3 to 7 business days. Shipping is calculated at checkout by weight and destination — we do not offer free shipping, and the cost is shown before you pay.
You have 14 days from delivery to return an item under EU distance-selling rules, provided it comes back in the condition it arrived with its accessories. Every item carries a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, handled by us rather than by the manufacturer.
What we do not sell, and why
This article reviews reference models from the market because readers compare against them. Not all of them are in our catalogue, and the prices shown next to them are market references, not an offer. What we do sell is the selection above: real units, with the price you see and a two-year warranty.
We do not invent specifications: where the manufacturer does not publish a figure in the product data, this page does not fill the gap, and we do not claim compatibilities or output figures that the product itself does not declare. We also do not include installation or accessories that are not in the box.
