Short version: four 24-inch monitors between €88.99 and €126.99, all in stock. The cheapest is fine for office work. The two at €95 have 120 Hz panels, which is the only specification in this range that you will genuinely notice.
Monitor marketing is built on numbers that do not matter at this price: 1 ms response times measured in modes you will never use, contrast ratios quoted as 1000:1 on every panel ever made, and "HDR" that is little more than a colour profile. Here is what actually separates these four.

At 60 Hz, Windows redraws the screen 60 times per second. At 120 Hz, 120 times. The difference is not subtle: the cursor, scrolling, dragging windows and every game camera movement become visibly smoother. Once you use 120 Hz for a week, 60 Hz feels broken.
If you are buying a monitor in 2026 for anything more than reading email, do not buy 60 Hz. That single decision rules out the €88.99 AOC — which is a perfectly good office screen, but a screen from the previous era.
The €94.99 Philips and the €95.99 AOC both give you 120 Hz IPS for €6–7 more. That is the best value decision on this page, and it is not close.
Which of the four
| Model | Panel | Refresh | Price | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AOC 24B3HMA2 | VA | 60 Hz | €88.99 | Office, spreadsheets. Built-in speakers. |
| Philips 24E2N1110 | IPS | 120 Hz | €94.99 | Best all-round value. |
| AOC 24B31H | IPS | 120 Hz | €95.99 | Same idea, slightly brighter, 1 ms mode. |
| ASUS TUF VG246H1A | IPS | 100 Hz | €126.99 | Gaming chassis, better stand, higher price. |
The ASUS costs €31 more than the AOC 24B31H and offers a lower refresh rate. What you pay for is the gaming build: a more adjustable stand, TUF styling, and ASUS's overdrive tuning. If you value the stand and the brand, fine. If you want the best picture per euro, the €95.99 AOC wins.
Panel types, in one paragraph
IPS gives accurate colours and wide viewing angles — the right choice for design work, photo editing and anyone who does not sit exactly centred. VA gives deeper blacks and higher contrast, which makes films look better in a dark room, but colours shift when viewed from an angle. At 24 inches, IPS is the safer default, and three of the four monitors here are IPS.
Check these before you order
- Ports. Confirm HDMI or DisplayPort on both the monitor and your computer. A VGA-only monitor will not connect to a modern laptop without an adapter.
- VESA. If you plan to mount it on an arm, check the 100×100 mm pattern. Not every budget monitor includes it.
- Stand adjustment. Cheap monitors often tilt only. If you need height adjustment, budget for a VESA arm.
- Dead pixels on arrival. Test with a solid colour image in the first 48 hours — it is far easier to resolve in the return window than after it.
What you will not find on this page
- No 4K claims. All four are 1920×1080. At 24 inches that is a sensible density; it is not 4K, and we will not imply otherwise.
- No free shipping. Delivery is calculated at checkout.
- No 30-day returns. You have 14 days, as stated in our policy.
- No "1 ms" taken at face value. That figure refers to a specific overdrive mode, not to everyday use.
Frequently asked questions
Is 120 Hz worth it for office work?
Yes. Scrolling, cursor movement and window dragging are noticeably smoother and reduce eye fatigue over a working day. It matters more for reading and spreadsheets than most buyers expect, and at €6 more than a 60 Hz panel it is an easy decision.
Do I need a 4K monitor at 24 inches?
Not for most work. At 24 inches, 1080p gives a reasonable pixel density and 1440p is a clear improvement, but 4K at this size requires scaling to be readable and costs considerably more. For documents and browsing, 1080p is adequate.
Can I connect two monitors to one laptop?
Usually yes, if your laptop has two video outputs or you use a USB-C dock. Check the laptop's specification first — many budget laptops support only one external display.
What should I check when the monitor arrives?
Test for dead or stuck pixels using solid colour images, check for backlight bleed in a dark room, and confirm both ports work. Do this within the first days so any issue falls inside the return window.
What we do not sell, and why
We do not sell game subscriptions, digital codes or a trade-in programme, and we do not invent specifications that the manufacturer does not publish.
Delivery, returns and warranty
Orders leave our EU warehouse and arrive in 3 to 7 business days. Shipping is calculated at checkout by weight and destination — we do not offer free shipping, and the cost is shown before you pay.
You have 14 days from delivery to return an item under EU distance-selling rules, provided it comes back in the condition it arrived with its accessories. Every item carries a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, handled by us rather than by the manufacturer, so there is one contact throughout.

The checklist behind every listing
Rather than assert quality, we describe the process. It is more useful and it can be checked.
Power-on, function-by-function response, physical condition against the declared grade, completeness of accessories, serial number match. Anything that fails does not get listed.
Beyond that we do not go. No thermal imaging, no long-duration stress runs, no acoustic measurement. If you need laboratory data, the manufacturer datasheet is the right source.
Where this shop stops
A buyer should know what the shop can and cannot do before paying, not after.
We will not fill a gap in a datasheet with a plausible number. Unknown stays unknown.
And we will not undercut everyone. If a lower price exists elsewhere, take it — what we offer is verified stock and a checked unit, not a price promise.

FAQ
Is the stock figure on this page real?
Yes, it is read from the live catalogue. Sold-out units change or disappear.
What is the spread between the cheapest and the most expensive option here?
The range runs from €88.99 to €126.99, a difference of €38.00. That gap buys specification, not brand prestige — read both rows before deciding it matters to you.
How many units are available across all models?
4 models are listed, with a combined 100 units in stock. The thinnest line is AOC Monitor 24B3HMA2 23.8' Full HD Multimedia Black HDMI VA Black Speaker Retail at 25 units.
Can I return an item if it does not suit me?
Yes, within 14 calendar days of delivery, complete and resaleable. Return shipping is at your cost unless the item was faulty.
Do you ship outside the EU?
We ship to the UK, Norway and Switzerland at a higher flat rate. We do not ship to Malta or Cyprus.
